Francesco: Made it back safe yesterday evening - long day. Just wanted to say thank you so much for the tour you provided to the 12 of us. Everyone said it was one of the best parts of the trip. Your knowledge of the area and the friendliness you (and Carlos) showed made everyone glad they went with me on this tour. The itinerary you suggested to visit Sorrento, Positano, Pompeii and drive the Amalfi coast was perfect - just wish we would have more time to enjoy the beautiful countryside. The tour guide you arranged in Pompeii was oustanding - not the average boring tour guide. He made the time go by fast and was personable and funny. I would be more than happy to be a reference for you for anyone thinking about booking with you - they won't find a better tour guide in all of Naples. Tell Andrea everyone enjoyed Delfino's and raved about it to everyone on the ship. I wish I could have spent more time visiting with him and you as well. I hired Francesco Marrapese for my group of 6 women and 2 men for a Pompeii/Amalfi Coast tour. I can say with no uncertainty my female tour companions were very happy with the choice. Francesco is now referred to, with no disrespect, as the "Hot Italian Guy". Francesco is from the area and still lives in Sorrento, so his knowledge was superb, as was his English (the frequent trips to the US must help that!). His driving was excellent, and if you've been to Italy or Europe for that matter before, you know it takes some skill to keep your patience and wits about you. Those scooters..... YOWZA!! I loved his comment... "Traffic signs are just meant to be suggestions." Anyway, our trip began on time and comfortably (all the best services/guides appear to drive Mercedes limo-vans) in Naples and we were wisked off to Pompeii, where a private guide was waiting for us. The older gentlemen guide, I believe his name was Marco (my apologies if that is not correct), was extremely knowledgeable with regard to the history of Pompeii and its ruins. Very cool tour. We then drove into Sorrento for lunch right on the ocean, awesome food and setting! Then down the Amalfi Coast drive to Positano.... it's very hard to describe this drive you have to see it to believe it. Amazing stuff. So in summary, Francesco is the ONLY driver I'll ever use if I return to this area. We really only scratched the surface. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! www.francescomarrapese.com

Hi Francesco, We are coming back to your beautiful city because we loved it so much last year!! So, we will need some transportation to/from the Hilton Sorrento Palace again from/to the Naples airport. We may want to do a Pompeii tour one day, but we are still deciding on that.
